A new potential client, Mark Simmons, owning a large
hardware franchise contacts you to advise him on a motivation issue
he has in his business. Listen to his voice message you found on

"I am Mark Simons, and i have a huge problem in my business,
which I do not know how to manage. My employees are not motivated
to contribute more than what I expected of them. Some of them
come late to work, others do not even pitch, I really try my best.
I smile at them everyday, and I am not to harsh on them if they
misbehave, but clearly this does not work. I know that salaries are
sometimes late and I do not give them bonuses, off-days, medical
assistance or pension, but at least they have jobs. Could you
please provide some examples of possible solutions in general,
which I can try to implement based Hezberg theory. I especially
want you to focus on theory, because I think the problem with the
motivation of employees could lay with the hygienic factors present
within my business. Please assist me, because these are good people
and I do not want to lose them as employees".
