“We’re passionate about our country and believe that by helping
previously disadvantaged communities build economically sustainable
livelihoods for themselves, we will empower future generations.
Communities are at the heart of our corporate social investment
strategy and core to this is to support programmes that address
food security, reduce child vulnerability and contribute towards
education.” (Woolworths, 2020) Write an essay highlighting the
importance of Corporate Social Responsibility, focusing on any
three activities that Woolworths can consider when drawing up their
CSR programme in future.
