Consider the following problem: The utility possibilities, i.e.
set S, between persons 1 and 2 are given
by u2 ≤ 10 − u1.
However, these possibilities are constrained by the fact that the
highest utility level that person 2 can achieve
is ū2 = 7 where person 1 can obtain
no more than ū1 = 5.
For d = (0, 0).
Depict the bargaining
situation 〈S, d〉 graphically and
calculate both the Nash and the Kalai–Smorodinsky solutions.
