Using win percentage data from the internet, calculate the Noll-Scully ratios (actual standard deviation over ideal) in Major League Baseball for the thirteen seasons 2007- 2019 (inclusive). Which of those years was the most competitively balanced? Which was the least balanced? Make a nice Excel® plot of the evolution of the Noll-Scully ratio over time.
• Extension: for those same years (2007-2019), collect data on NFL win percentages, compute and plot the Noll-Scully ratios, and compare them with those of the MLB. (Hint: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2019/)
