AZ 2. A system of two thin, infinitely long coaxial, conducting hollow cylinders with radii a and b (a < b) has charge per unit length (or linear charge density) , on the inner cylinder and -2 on the outer cylinder. (The z- axis is the symmetry axis of both cylinders.) The space between the two cylinders is filled with a linear dielectric material with electric susceptibility Xe: the electric permittivity is Eo in all other regions. Find the electric displacement D, the electric field E, and the volume bound charge density Pb for points: (a) inside the innermost cylinder (r< a), [5 points] (b) between the cylinders (a <r<b), [10 points] and (c) outside both cylinders (r> b), where r is the perpendicular distance from the z-axis. [5 points]
