(1) Consider the following null and alternative hypothesis: H : μ = 95 Ha: 95 Assume the population is normally distributed with a standard deviation = 12.5. A sample size of 18 resulted in a sample mean of = 93.72. (a) Compute the probability of type I error if the rejection region is {≤90 or 7 > 100}. (b) Let a = 0.07. Determine whether there is sufficient evidence to reject the null hypoth- esis. (c) Compute the probability of a type II error when = 95.5, if a = 0.07.
