Suppose the 60-0 stopping distance in ft was
measured for separate types of tires, all season
tires and all terrains tires. We would like to know if
there is a significant difference in the distance it
takes to stop using one tire or the other so 6 cars
were randomly selected and fitted with one of the
tire types. After an initial stopping distance was
found the tires were switched to the other type and
the test was repeated (Same Car was used for both
tires). Is there evidence of difference between to
two tires? Assume a 5% level of significance.
All Season All Terrain
126.3 132.8
133.9 137.2
119.4 117.4
125.6 122.5
123.6 126.6
135.1 133.9
