Q3(A): A given battery for an HEV has a nominal voltage of 200 V, and a nominal capacity of 8 Ah. (a) Calculate the energy rating of the battery. (b) If the maximum discharged rate is 100 A while it is fully charged, and if 50% can be discharged, calculate the discharge time. (c) If the maximum charge rate is 80 A and the current SoC is 40%, calculate the charging time that takes the battery SoC to 90%. (d) If the vehicle cruises at 120 km/h and the discharge rate is 80 A while it is fully charged and if the minimum SOC is 40 %. Calculate the distance that the vehicle can travel. Assum the voltage is constant.
