The absorber and heater are both of length L=10m and are separated by a distance of H=0.60 m. The upper surface of the absorber and the lower surface of the heater are insulated. The heater is at T₁= 973K and has an emissivity of E=0.9, while the absorber is at T₂ = 373K and has an emissivity of E₂=0.5₁ The entire system is in a large room whose walls are at T3=300k.
