The City of Activia has an activated sludge WWTP that treats 21 million L of wastewater per day. The effluent from the WWTP flows out at 20 million L/day. The recycle flow rate is 23 million L/ day. The influent and effluent BOD5 are 380 mg/L and 18 mg/L, respectively. The biomass (MLVSS) concentrations in the waste sludge and clarifier effluent are 4,400 mg/L and 15 mg/L, respectively.
