Design an asynchronous circuit that has one input w and one output z. z is to be high all the time that w is high. z is to be low every other time that w is low (and be high on the other low times) as is shown in this timing diagram. W Z • Draw a state diagram. (You should have 4 states.) • Give a flow table (remembering to circle the stable states). • Assign the states to the values 00, 01, 10, and 11 in an appropriate order so that your design can be as simple as possible. .Write the next-state and output equations. • Draw the gates required to implement your equations. (You should have two gated latch structures or a master-slave D flip-flop represented as gates as in Figure 9.8 in your design.)
