Analyze and design a boost converter and its controller given the following specifications: A input voltage of 20V < Vin <30V, the nominal voltage is: 25 V, and an output of Vout=50V over a load range of 10W < Pout <25W. Switching frequency is fw 100 kHz. - Hardware Design 1) [5 points] Design the inductor (L) and capacitor (C) [2 pts]. The current ripple Air should be less than 20% of the average inductor current I at the maximum load under any Vin. The steady state ripple AVout is below 5% of the steady-state value of the output voltage. For the designed L, find the value of lout,crit at the boundary of DCM and CCM. Plot Iout.crit VS.
