Boost converter V₁ İL İD L D Vs ia Cs 19 ic LOAD Circuit is only capable of step-up operation (Vo> Vs) - hence name "boost converter" Not used as much as the other circuits because Hard to protect (turning off Q does not stop lo) Hard to make isolated (no obvious way) Analyse the circuit yourself and show that Vo/Vs = 1/(1-d) Basic analysis of this circuit IS EXAMINABLE ta io Vo Co
