(c) A river gauging gives a measured discharge of 4000 m³/s. The gauging took 3 hour during which the gauge fell 0.35 m. The river surface slope at the time was 15 cm in 500 m and the cross-section of the river at the site was 150 m wide by 5 m deep. What adjusted discharge would you use? What is Manning's n for this river at this time? [8 marks]
