office in the state of California. Coconut Corporation also has
several stores in California where it sells its Coconut wireless
phones to consumers. It also has several stores in the state of
Hawaii where it advertises and sells its Coconut wireless phones.
Danny, a resident of Hawaii, purchased a Coconut wireless phone in
Hawaii. The next day, while he was using his phone at home (in
Hawaii), the phone explodes and causes injury to Danny’s hands and
face. For purposes of this question, you can assume the phone was
defective and that Danny has a valid claim against Coconut
Corporation.
Pretend you are an attorney advising Danny. Danny asks you which
