To perform a similar experiment to the one you did for this lab by watching the absorption of species B as a function of time, using a large excess of OH(aq) again removes the dependence on the OH concentration and gives pseudo-fth order dependence. If you did, you might also expect to get one of the following curves, depending on the reaction order.
