Each student is required to write a reflection paper. This
reflection paper must address the following:
If a Project was assigned – a detailed description of the
project and what you accomplished
Externship Experience – in cases where student does not complete
a project, provide detailed descriptions of your day to day
activities
Personal Reaction
Combining both education and site experience
Must be supported by examples
This paper should be subjective in nature. Be very candid in
your explanations concerning the relevance or disconnect in your
site experiences versus your education at Northwestern College. The
purpose of this paper is to get a better understanding of what
students are experiencing at their sites, and to get a better gauge
of how curriculum can bridge any inconsistencies.
