At the point of concentration of the culvert, the inlet invert elevation =25.5m; natural streambed slope = 0.01; tail water depth at 10% dependability above outlet invert =1.3m. Culvert length =50m. Roadway shoulder elevation= 29.60m .If a free board of 0.5m is to be provided, design a concrete pipe Culvert for this site checking for both outlet and inlet control situations . Indicate the condition of operation of the culvert for
the design flood by finding the critical depth and normal depth using the attached charts. Use a groove end with headwall with k-entry =0.015; f= 0.02.
