The following formula is used to determine s, the distance
travelled by an object: 2 2 1 s  ut  at where u is the initial
velocity, a is the acceleration and t is the elapsed time. Find the
initial velocity (u) in m/sec if the distanced traveled (s) is
800m, the acceleration (a) is 6.7 m/sec2 and the time (t) is 18
seconds. (I - 4)
