A 60-year-old patient is complaining of substernal chest pain that radiates down the left arm and up the left side of the neck. The patient is rating the pain an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. An ECG is showing sinus tachycardia at a rate of 120 beats per minute. The health care team evaluating the patient suspects the patient is having an acute myocardial infarction (AMI). What opiate agonist should be considered if the pain is unrelieved?
