Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability. You are evaluated on your logic and experimental understanding, Please be clear and concise with your answers. 1. Most of the titrations you have done to date require you to titrate an acid with a base until you see a pink color. How would you know you've reached the end point if you were titrating a base with acid? Assume phenolphthalein as your indicator 2. You were given a diluted acid solution that was tested by another student. They were supposed to make a solution with a certain concentration. If your experimental data matched the test but not the target concentration, what does that tell you about the data? For example, the student was supposed to make a 0.87 M solution. When they tested it, they got 0.6113 M. When you tested it, you got 0.6144 M. 3. Why should you do a standardization every time you do a titration? 4. Would you expect to use the same volume of Ca(OH)as NaOH to titrate 0.4 M HCI. Explain. 5. Why is having a wash bottle useful for titrations?
