The circuit shown above is similar to the stereo system in your
car. The switch is the on/off button, the resistor directly next to
the switch is the volume knob. The two bulbs (funny shaped circle
things) are in place of stereo speakers, and the other two
resistors are to adjust Left/Right balance of the speakers.
Calculate the power drawn by each of the speakers when the radio
is on (switch closed), volume is turned all the way up (0 ohms),
and the left and right balance is set to 5ohms (left) and 10ohms
(right) Assuming 10% of the electrical energy in the speakers is
turned into sound, calculate the sound level (in decibels) a
distance of 3m away from the speakers.
