An engine works like a Carnot Cycle between two sources of
temperature T1=1000K and T2=300K. Its efficiency is equal to 40% of
its maximum efficiency. In every cycle it absorbs from the hot
source an amount of heat Q1=8000J. The engine makes 3000
cycles/minute.
The work of the engine is used to move a vehicle in
linear motion.
- When the vehicle has velocity v, how can we express the Force
of Push of the engine respectively to the Power?
- If the vehicle, in addition, undergoes a Force of
Resistence Fr=k*v (with k=100 N/s). What is the equation that
determines the Law of Motion? What is the velocity limit of the
vehicle?
