Scenario 4 Carla is a client of yours who lives in her own home and who you visit 3 times per week to assist with domestic duties and you have a coffee together after the weekly shopping. During your last visit, you arrive whilst Carla's son was still visiting with her. You start doing some of the duties as listed in the work plan when you overhear Carla's son telling her that he needs her to sign over the house to him so that he can use the equity to fund his investment property. He reminds her that he is the only family she has left since her daughter moved with her family and that he needs his extra income so that he can keep looking after. After Carla's son leaves, she confides in you that she is concerned about signing over her house and would like you to read over the documents for her and to give her some advice as to what she should she do as she is not comfortable confronting her son and feels pressured. 1.
