n) What is the change in specific enthalpy for the whole process? o) Using Ideal gas law to calculate the final specific volume (m®/kg) and compare with the value from steam table. p) Using compressibility factor to calculate the final specific volume (m>/kg) and compare with the value from steam table. a) Can you use ideal gas law to calculate v at state 1? Explain. r) What is the vapor pressure or Psat at 550°C?

Pressurised water at 10MPa and 300°C (state 1) undergo a pressure reduction at constant temperature until it reaches a saturated liquid condition (state 2). Then the system is heated at constant pressure until 55.9% of its mass is liquid (state 3). The system then undergoes an isochoric process until it reaches a saturated vapor condition (state 4). Finally, the system is heated isobarically until its final temperature is 550°C (state 5).
