1. A needle with a piston is used to extract blood from the arm
of a patient. Solve for the ave. speed of the blood flow, in mm/s,
in the needle if the radius of the piston is 2.5mm and the diameter
of the needle is 0.5mm and length of 10mm. Take into account the
blood withdrawing speed of 6mm/s and air leaks around the piston at
20mm3/s.
2. The water level in a 0.9m diameter tank varies. The tank is
being filled by a faucet located at the top at a rate of 15L/s. It
also has a 20 mm radius inlet duct supplying water at 6m/s. The
exit section has a 60mm diameter duct. Solve for the rate of change
of the height of the water in mm/s.
Please Answer asap with full solution. THANK YOUU!!
