Multi-Axial Fatigue (15 Marks) The critical section of a non-rotating shaft is at the 1.5 mm radius grove as shown in the figure below. The shaft is machined from En24(Y) carbon steel, the bending moment is found to be completely reversed at 75 Nm while the axial force is steady at 35 kN.
