QUESTION 1 (20 marks) Two views of a Machined Block are shown in 3rd angle orthographic projection. Firstly, using projection lines draw from all corners/features of the front view, in the direction and angle of the given 'Line of Sight'. Secondly, project lines from the left view, to guide you for the specific widths of the Block. Now, by using the intersections of the projection lines, draw the 'Auxiliary View. Use the correct linework for the 'Centre Lines, Hidden Detail and Outlines' in your drawing. QUESTION 2 (40 Marks) Two views of a machined block are shown in 1st angle orthographic projection. Firstly, using projection lines and the given dimensions, accurately copy the top view at a scale of 1:2 in the rectangular space provided. Secondly, draw the projected auxiliary view in the box provided. Include centre lines and all hidden detail . Lastly, place three of the given dimensions on the front view and three dimensions on the top view (Six different dimensions in total). 10 14 18 46 Mark Allocation - Question 1 Neatness/Cleanliness Linework - Projected Lines, Outlines, Hidden Detail and Centre Linen Auxiliary View - Accuracy and Completeness Total for Question 1 18 20 120 12.5 25 25 - 14 + 18 25 17 Mark Allocation - Question 2 Neatness/Cleanliness Linework Projected Lines, Outlines, Hidden Detail and Centro Lines Top View - Accuracy and Completeness Auxiliary View - Accuracy and Completeness 34 18 /14 010 Line of sight Dimensions 76 75 Total for Question 2 140
