For the following circuit:
Perform the necessary analyses:
1. DC Analysis (IC, IB, IE, gm, VC, VE, VB)
2. AC Small-Signal Analysis in the Midband (including
ro) (using T-model or pi-model)
a. Get the gain = vload / vsig
b. Get Rin from the signal source
point-of-view
c. Get Rout from the load
point-of-view
3. AC Small-Signal Analysis around fL (Get an approximation of
fL)
4. AC Small-Signal Analysis around fH (Get an approximation of
fH)
Clarity is key. Provide a schematic for each analysis.
5. In the end, after performing the analyses, replace the ideal
current source (and its output resistance) with an appropriate
simple current mirror.
