There is a 34.5 kV distribution line at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level and it is desired to design a new post-crosshead insulator. Make your design in Auto Cad with the real dimensions. Simulate your isolator in the COMSOL program and analyze its behavior.
The level of contamination is medium (20 mm/kV).
Creepage distance= 700mm.
Note: Use the IEC 815 standard for the design of an insulator in a polluted environment.
