In this experiment s-Domain circuit analysis will be performed by MultiSIM software package. Experimental Work 1. Find the transfer function of the circuit given in Figure 1, when R1=R2=R and C1=C2=C by hand calculation. Vin R1 C2 11 Vout R2 Em C1 UV 11 Figure 1: Illustration of the circuit which will be analyzed 2. Select values for R. Cand H, such that the natural poles of the given circuit are: a. Real and distinct and lie on the LHS of the s-plane b. Real and distinct and lie on the RHS of the s-plane c. Complex conjugate and lie on the LHS of the s-plane d. Complex conjugate and lie on the RHS of the s-plane e. Complex conjugate and lie on the imaginary axis of the s-plane 3. For each of the above cases, simulate the circuit in MultiSIM and plot the output waveform for each of the following inputs: a. Vin(t) = u(t) b. V.(t) = cos(Bt); select B such that the effect of both the natural poles and the forced solutions can be observed on the output waveform.
