The transfer function blocks of a closed loop system is given by
:
G(s) = K/((s + 2) ^ 2 * (s + 4)) and
H(s) = 1/(s + 1)
a) Draw the root-locus for K >= 0
b) Determine the range of k for stable system.
c) Determine the value of K at stability boundary.
d) Determine k for zeta = 0.707 , write the closed-loop T.F. in
factored form, compute the angular frequency, damping frequency,
rise and settling time
e) What is the gain margin of the system if the gain is set to
the value determined in part (d)? Answer this question without
drawing Bode.
