(b) In a building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) project in Langkawi, a roof-top with the size of 4.2W meters ~ 6.2X meters is installed with 15 units of 168 W fixed modules to deliver 3600 kWh/yr. The dimension of each solar module is 1.3 meter in length and 1.00 meter in width. i. If each solar module is rated at 168 W/module, evaluate the total area that is required for the 15 modules and sketch the solar modules on the roof size of 4.1X meters x 6.1X meters. (5 Marks) ii. Analyse the actual annual energy delivered by the system. You may assume a 20% de-rating factor and 5.9 kWh/day of average solar insolation. Compare the calculated results with target of 3600 kWh/yr. (4 marks) (Total: 20 Marks) W=2 X=4
