Considering the canonical SOP F1 obtained in Q2,
(a) MINUS 2 to each subscript to get a new canonical SOP F3 that
has only THREE input variables a,b, and c. If the corresponding
result is less than 0, set it to 0. Simplify F3 by K-map. (6
points)
(b) Draw out the logic diagram of F3 by a 3-8 decoder. (8
points)
For example, the canonical SOP obtained in Q2 is
F1(a,b,c,d) = m0+m1+m2+m4+m5+m6+m8.
Then, F3(a,b,c) = m0+m2+m3+m4+m6.
