Select a favorite structure and complete the following. • Identify/describe the structure and explain why you select it. If possible, include a photo of the structure. Draw a simple sketch of your structure. If it consists of many stories and bays (building), many spans (bridge), and so on, you may reduce it to something much smaller so that you can easily represent it. Next, resketch your structure broken into members and sketch the load path through the members using arrows. Describe the source of the applied load and the resistance mechanism of the element.
