Question 1 X k=163 N/m cele m=0.2kg d A le A mass of m=0.2kg moves on a horizontal surface. The coefficient of kinetic friction is ux=0.1. The body has an initial velocity vo=3.21 m/s and after travelling a distance d, the velocity reduces to 0.9vo. a) Calculate the travelled distance d At this point the body hits a spring with a stiffness k=163 N/m initially at rest. The body keeps its versus of motion until the maximum compression of the spring is reached. Calculate: b) The kinetic energy of the body when it hits the spring. c) The maximum compression of the spring. (Remember that during the compression the friction force still produces work)
