Quantity of alum added (ton/month) if the rapid mixing tank will blend 30 mg/L of alum with the flow. 2. Design the flocculator tank (basin dimensions, power requirements, paddle configuration),if o = 4 rev/min G-value = 31 sec !, Gt = 3 x 104 and the depth of tank is 3.5 m. 3. Design the sedimentation tank (tank dimensions) and checks of (horizontal velocity, over flow weir and over flow rate) if depth of tank is 4.0 m and detention time 3.0 hrs.
