A simply supported W21 x 48 section is used as a beam, 25-feet long, with lateral bracing at the ends and at the midpoint. The beam is loaded with uniformly distributed loads, as given below. Use the LRFD method of analysis and determine if the beam is adequate for bending moment and shear. (30 pts.) WD = 1.5 k (including self-weight) WL = 1.6 k
