One definition of resilient design is “the intentional design of
buildings and urban environments in order to respond to natural and
manmade disasters and disturbances.” Using the geographic location
of the Farnsworth house how could you adjust the design to make it
more resilient to natural disasters that your site is vulnerable
to?
Draw a sketch as part of your answer. You can propose changes to
things such as structural system, building materials, design,
and/or the use of sustainable and/or alternative energy
systems.
