He has just been transferred to the post anesthesia care unit following appendectomy performed under spinal anesthesia. His blood pressure is 138 / 80, pulse 80 beats /mt, respiration 26 breaths /mt and temperature 36.8 °C. He is stable and awake. Questions/Instructions: 1.
