1- Let's hope we are in the post coronavirus era, and you want to measure the impact of this virus on the US economy, environment, and society. You are going to use the following indices for each of them, accordingly: GDP (measure for the economy), air pollution (PM 2.5) and forest acres (proxies for the environment well-being), Crime rates, life expectancy, death rates, (other) respiratory diseases, circulatory diseases, and Gini coefficient (proxies for societal factors). How should you estimate those, having access to the comprehensive dataset? Explain in detail your identification strategy (or strategies) and come up with at least two different robustness tests. (You may use all of them in a single model, or construct different models to estimate each separately; your call).
