A 30-m-long lossless transmission line with 𝑍𝑜 = 50 Ω operating
at 2 MHz is terminated with a load 𝑍𝐿 = 60 + 𝑗400. If 𝑣 = 0.51𝑐 on
the line, find
1. The reflection coefficient
2. The load admittance
3. If the line were to be matched to a 50Ω lossless line with a
shorted stub. Determine (Use Smith Chart) (a) The
required stub admittance, (b) The distance between the stub and the
antenna, (c) The stub length.
