Question 1 A two-phase intersection is to be pre-timed. Measured traffic volumes, phasing plan and saturation flows are given in the sketch below. Assume total lost time per phase equals to 3 sec and yellow time = 3 sec both directions. The clearance time is 1 sec and 2 sec for phase A and phase B, respectively. Ignore pedestrian crossing E-W. Determine the green intervals per each direction and check for pedestrians (Do one iteration).
