According to ACR, The NADCA Standard, if when conducting a pre-cleaning inspection the Air Handling Unit (AHU) reveals suspect microbial growth, the ASCS shall:

A. immediately put on a respirator and inform the occupants.
B. stop the inspection and recommend a complete system cleaning.
C. inspect the supply and return ducts as part of the inspection.
D. close up the system to prevent any cross-contamination.
