Hi, I have a question about Coriolis affect. I know
that if I throw a ball directly toward the center of the merry go
round, it will not land on the center, it will go toward left
or right depending on the direction of the motion of the merry
go round. Now the question is, at what position should I throw the
ball so that the ball lands at the center of the merry go round?
Please draw and explain forces and directions of a,v,x and forces.
Thank you
