[ELEC.06] A Plutonium-238 (238Pu) nucleus has a radius of about 7.5 x 10-15 m. It contains 94 protons. Suppose one extra proton is moved into the nucleus from an infinite distance away (producing Americium-239). How much work is done on the extra proton by the nucleus's electric field during this process, and is that work positive or negative? (In reality, at distances like this, the strong nuclear force may be greater than the electrical force; for the purposes of this problem, neglect the work done by any other force besides the electric force.)
