My equipment is slightly different from yours, but the idea is the same. A picture of my circuit looks like this: Once assembled, insert the ammeter into the circuit in series, so that it is now part of the complete path for the current to go through. If you do not do this properly, you will blow a fuse and it will be a headache for you. As such, recommend making all current measurements and then making any necessary voltage measurements, or vice versa. battery w resistor Each battery should have a voltage of 1.5 volts. Measure the current in the ammeter (be sure the ammeter is set-up correctly). Disconnect any of the wires, and insert a 2nd battery (it is always good to get in the habit of turning the circuit 'off' while changing the voltage). Once the 2nd battery is inserted into the holder properly connect the circuit again, and measure the current. Repeat this procedure until 8 batteries are used for a total voltage of 12 V. Record your measurements in the table below. Once recorded, plot a graph of the voltage vs. the current (voltage on the y-axis and current on the x-axis).
