Hafthor Bjornsen – strongman and part-time actor (The Mountainon Game of Thrones) – recently posted a video of himself competingin an event known as ‘weight over the bar toss’. The goal is tothrow a 56 lbs weight as high as possible over a bar – think highjump but with throwing a weight. Hafthor has a natural advantagebecause he is big (397 lbs) and he is tall (6ft 9in) and is able torelease the weight at a vertical height of 2.8 m.
