Explain your reasoning.
b) Let's deal with something less abstract: imagine you'retrying to lift up a can made of aluminium, using a magnet. Why is this not possible?
(A) Aluminium is not a magnetic material.
(B) Aluminium is diamagnetic, so the the can is repelled by themagnet.
(C) The can is attracted by the magnet, but is too heavy tostick to the magnet.
