P (atm) P8.16 A system undergoes the processes shown in Figure 8.5. The internal energy at "a" is 10J and the internal energy of the system is SoJ at "c". Going from a b, 20J of heat is absorbed by the system, while 35J of heat are absorbed as it goes from b-c. We also have that 10 J of heat flows out of the system when it goes from c-d and an absolute value of 5J of work during step d-a. In addition, 50J of heat is lost by the system during process c-a.
